The temperature 's rising in the garden

This is one of a pair of Robins who visit my garden. I'm oh so close to having him eat from my hand, at least I think I am. He comes and sits on my windowsill once or twice during the day, I feel like he is reminding me that it's feeding time.
I say "he" but both sexes have the same colouring so i'm not really too sure if this is Mr or Ms

Can you feel spring is on its way? I can, breathe it in, evenings are getting lighter by the day. The blackbirds in my garden know spring is around the corner because they have started to get more territorial, chasing rivals away and trying to attract a mate.
They don't really bother singing at all during the winter but I think within the next few weeks they will start their gorgeous song. There is no other song like it, it is the song of life to me. The Great Spirit listens to the chorus and breathes life into the art.
